Crown Princess Mary Outpatient Services is seeking a highly skilled social worker to provide comprehensive services to patients and their carers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of social work services, including counselling, case management, and end-of-life care. They will also assist in the development of policies and procedures and participate in quality improvement activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced social worker to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualification: Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
- Demonstrated understanding of psychosocial issues associated with acute and chronic illness
- Ability to provide counselling, case management, and end-of-life care
- Well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
