Job Overview:

The primary objective of the Business Services role is to oversee operational efficiency and champion innovation within a top-tier law firm. This involves providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure a safe, secure and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and coach the Business Services teams to deliver exceptional services and create a positive work environment
  • Oversee core services such as documentation management, mail and reception, premises maintenance, security, catering and crisis management
  • Manage tenancy operations including contracts, repairs and relocations with minimal disruption
  • Drive continuous improvement through research, supplier engagement and technology solutions to streamline processes
  • Manage budgets, expenditure, rosters and compliance requirements effectively
  • Support and lead firm-wide projects, initiatives and service delivery innovations to enhance operational excellence
About You:
  • Experience in a similar leadership role within a professional services firm or similar environment
  • Strong people leadership, coaching and team engagement skills with a proven track record
  • Proven project and contract management expertise with a commercial mindset
  • Financial management capability with a focus on cost savings and process improvements
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills to drive results
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and organisational abilities to navigate complex challenges
