About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, risk, and compliance professional to join a leading independent producer of renewable energy. As an asset manager, you will be responsible for identifying and recommending optimization strategies to enhance the performance of multiple renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the operation and profitability of multiple renewable energy assets
- Develop and implement strategic, risk, and compliance management plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing assets to identify areas for improvement
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related field
- Additional business/project management qualification (e.g., MBA)
- Proven skills in operations and maintenance activities associated with energy generation
- Working knowledge of renewable energy plants and electrical equipment/HV infrastructure
- High-level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Contract management experience
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Workplace Health, Safety & Environment requirements
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- Effective leadership and supervision skills
