Job Description

Implement the Teaching Family Model (TFM) in a therapeutic residential home, focusing on teaching interactions and relationships to reduce problem behaviors.

The TFM Consultant will manage one residential home with up to four young people, providing hands-on support through coaching, observations, and feedback.

This role requires leadership and operational management of a core team, as well as mentorship, coaching, and supervision of staff to improve outcomes for young people in care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and operational management of a core team.
  • Mentor, coach, and supervise staff to improve outcomes for young people in care.
  • Provide supervision, monitor workloads, and individual performance.
  • Role-model best practice principles and understanding of the Out of Home Care System to young people and the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You will be a leader in advocacy for young people in care, with sound experience working with young people who live with the impacts of trauma and neglect.

Hold a Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or other relevant field.
