Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled practitioner to support and develop our workforce in child and family services. The successful candidate will work with leaders to embed therapeutic, culturally safe care across programs and help shape how care is delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance practice and quality excellence in children, youth and family services.
  • Provide expert advice on complex cases, escalating risks and supporting staff through reflective practice, case reviews, secondary consultations and training.
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based practices, ensuring culturally responsive and trauma-informed interventions.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have significant experience supporting children and young people impacted by complex trauma using therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches. They will also possess deep knowledge and hands-on experience across children, youth and family services from early intervention through to foster and kinship care.

A track record in coaching and developing staff, leading reflective practice, facilitating training and providing case consultations is essential. The ability to draw meaningful insights from practice data, identify trends and recommend improvements at individual, team and system levels is also required.
