Revenue Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Revenue Operations Manager to join our forward-thinking council in South East Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to step into a leadership role where your skills will directly contribute to the community.

In this role, you will lead the team responsible for managing revenue operations – ensuring accurate billing, timely payment collection, and up-to-date property records. You'll oversee revenue management, provide guidance on best practices, and contribute to future planning and strategy development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage revenue operations, including billing, payment collection, and property record keeping.
  • Oversee the team responsible for revenue management and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Contribute to future planning and strategy development for revenue operations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience in property-based rating and revenue, ideally in local government.
  • Confidence with complex financial systems, legislation, and problem-solving.
  • Clear, professional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and results-focused approach to leadership.
  • A drive for continuous improvement and better ways of working.

This role offers hybrid work arrangements, with start and finish times negotiable. Please note the position is located approximately 50km east of Pakenham and 80km east of Springvale, and is not fully remote.
