- This desk-based role is part of a thriving team in our East Bentleigh office, working closely with stakeholders to coordinate daily and weekly scheduling of internal and external resources.
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our dynamic team as a Scheduler. This role involves coordinating the efficient allocation of staff technicians, in-house plumbers, virtual estimators, and subcontracted trades to meet operational requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, external subcontractors, insurance company representatives, assessors, policyholders, and project coordinators, to ensure seamless coordination of job assignments and timely delivery of services.
This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess incoming job requests to determine the appropriate personnel, considering task requirements, timing, and necessary skillsets.
- Allocate internal and external resources effectively to meet the needs of restoration and construction projects.
- Schedule jobs promptly, coordinating with both internal teams and external contractors as needed.
- Maintain a centralized resource calendar to support real-time visibility of team availability, job assignments, and time off.
- Prioritize job scheduling based on project size, key performance indicators (KPIs), and client expectations.
- Collaborate closely with project coordinators and claims coordinators, providing administrative support as required.
- An understanding of the building repair process, critical inspection points, and WHS requirements.
- Track record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships/accounts.
