Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description:

The Contracts Manager is a key role that plays a crucial part in the success of our projects. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contracts advice to management, reviewing and negotiating client contract terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance with our contracts and commitments policies and procedures.

Your Day Will Involve:

  • Providing comprehensive advice to management on commercial and contracts matters
  • Reviewing and negotiating client contract terms and conditions to ensure they align with our business goals
  • Actively participating in the handover from tender to project execution
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with our contracts and commitments policies and procedures
  • Assisting production personnel in investigating and responding to claims, assessing our level of responsibility based on contractual provisions, quantifying claim value, and finalizing any claims
  • Managing the formation function with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Developing and maintaining our contract database
  • Monitoring and reviewing subcontractors/suppliers compliance and performance

What We Are Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in the building and construction industry
  • Proficiency in structuring contracts and drafting legal provisions
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and relevant experience in contract negotiation
  • Experience in managing numerous different forms of contract
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or Business
