This role involves working as a Medical Laboratory Technician in a dynamic team of technicians and scientists.

Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory investigations and tests, applying established methods and procedures as directed.
- Undertake technical tasks, including preparation of materials and maintenance of equipment, according to laboratory processes and protocols.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems, and Quality Systems to deliver pathology services within relevant disciplines.
- Work efficiently and effectively, managing competing priorities to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver results within specified timeframes, while maintaining a customer-focused approach and good interpersonal skills.
- Mandatory qualifications: Diploma in Laboratory Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Relevant knowledge and experience in Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Transfusion Science, and leadership skills are desirable.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and analytical skills to drive quality management and continuous improvement principles.
