Clinical Nurse Consultant - Stroke and Rehabilitation Expertise
About the RoleThis position offers an opportunity to leverage clinical expertise in stroke, rehabilitation, and falls prevention management services across multiple service groups. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and lead quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes in stroke and rehabilitation care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and deliver targeted educational programs
- Promote best practice guidelines for falls prevention and management within the health district
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and minimum 5 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience
- Expertise in stroke, rehabilitation, or cardiovascular disease and relevant postgraduate qualifications
- Strong communication and IT skills, with ability to influence nursing practice
- Leadership and project management skills to drive quality improvement initiatives
