The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team and play a key role in building our organization's onboarding and ongoing development programs.

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating training programs that meet the current and future requirements of our business units, strategic alliance partners, and authorized representatives.

You will work closely with subject matter experts to deliver a seamless onboarding experience and design, develop, deliver, and evaluate technical and non-technical learning solutions to support business objectives, values, and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate training programs that meet current and future requirements for organizational business units, strategic alliance partners, and authorized representatives.
  • Maintain relationships with subject matter experts to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate technical and non-technical learning solutions to support business objectives, values, and vision.
  • Ensure training documentation complies with relevant industry legislation and meets Registered Training Organization (RTO) standards.
  • Research, recommend, and coordinate the implementation of modern, best practice capability development methods, techniques, and strategies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by offering innovative ideas and solutions to enhance policies, processes, and learning tools.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (TAE) or equivalent.
  • Certification within the financial services industry is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical and behavioral training within the financial services industry.
  • High-level facilitation experience, including on-the-job and classroom training.
  • Understanding of training/learning processes, theories, and methodologies, including adult learning principles and styles.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a dynamic service operation.
  • Demonstrated capacity for self-management, participative decision-making, team participation, and the ability to accept, promote, and manage change.
