Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Splunk professional to join our Service Assurance Solutions team. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple products and industries, providing a wide range of career advancement prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include system installations, configuration, testing, and design.
  • You will be estimating required project effort and durations.
  • Preparation and submission of weekly project reports on work executed.
  • Creation of clear, concise, and professional project documentation.
  • Assistance in pre-sales activities, including responding to Requests for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Providing customer support on Splunk projects and assisting with tickets logged and live development systems when not on customer site.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in installing and configuring Splunk.
  • A thorough understanding of the components of a larger-scale Splunk implementation.
  • Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems, comfortable with the command line interface.
  • Successful track record in startups in the area of system management.
  • Required skills include:
    • Ability to quickly explore, examine, and understand complex problems and how these relate to the customer's business.
    • Able to quickly understand and interpret customer problems and navigate complex organisations.
    • Effective communication skills to convey clearly to technical and business audiences.
    • Well-organised with a healthy sense of urgency and ability to set, communicate, and meet aggressive goals.
