Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Mobile Service Technician. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, delivering and installing batteries to members and customers in a timely, efficient and friendly manner.

The role exists to assist in the overall achievement of service delivery and response times. You will be working with various stakeholders, including auto clubs and their members, to provide sound advice on mechanical issues and Roadside Assistance products.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to possess strong communication skills, customer relations experience and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You will be required to participate in project work as required and contribute to the overall success of our service delivery team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mechanical trade experience
  • Current C Class Driver Licence (manual)
  • Mechanical or Auto Electrical trade qualification is advantageous
  • Experience in Roadside Assistance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer relations experience
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational experience
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant automotive club products, services and policy systems.
