Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience as a hydraulic hose technician or mechanical trade background.
• Experience in mobile service or field-based mechanical work
• Valid MR truck license and clean driving record (mandatory)
• Ability to pass a coal board medical examination.
• Reside within a 25km radius of the service centre in Toowoomba
• Willingness to work and be flexible with hours dictated by work load and participate in a rotating afterhours on call roster being 1 week in every 3 weeks Monday to Monday 24 hours.
• Basic computer or mobile device skills (for job logging and communication)
• Own Tooling required, basic hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic hose failures and related systems in the field.
• Remove, fabricate, and install hydraulic hoses on-site using mobile hose crimping equipment.
• Assess hydraulic systems and ensure correct hose specifications for the application.
• Maintain and manage parts inventory and tools on the service vehicle.
• Respond promptly to scheduled and emergency call-outs, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
• Provide professional, friendly service and communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Complete service reports, job cards, and necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure job sites are left clean and safe.
• Perform pre-start checks and general maintenance on the service vehicle and equipment.

What we offer:

• Work vehicle & phone provided
• Attractive hourly rates $45-$55 dependent on experience
• On call allowance paid on top of your regular pay.
• Bonus or commissions atop your regular pay (to be negotiated after probation period)
• Parker Hose Doctor Training Provided within a 6 month period

Relocation bonus of $1000 is on offer for the right interstate applicant.
