Fitters and mechanical tradespeople looking for a new challenge will be interested in this mobile service technician position.

This is a hands-on role where you will travel to sites within Toowoomba and surrounding areas to replace hoses in a breakdown situation or complete new installation work on a variety of machinery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fitting, mechanical trade, and/or hydraulics, with excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.

A strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, and ability to operate machinery, use tools, and measuring devices accurately are essential for this role.

Additional requirements include the ability to arrange and plan priorities, anticipate problems, and find solutions. A strong understanding of customer service, OHS, and safe work practices is also necessary.

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have a trade certificate, current manual driver's license, and be willing to obtain an LR license.

Flexibility with working hours is a must, as after-hours availability is a pre-requisite for this role.

The successful applicant will be well presented, medically fit for the task, and able to carry out instructions effectively.
