
Regulatory Support Specialist

The Regulatory Service Officer plays a vital role in delivering frontline advisory, triage and response functions, including leading or contributing to first-line response activities for critical workplace health and safety incidents. This position requires a motivated individual who can thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-level administrative support to senior managers, team coordinators, inspectors, and project officers.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring current and relevant information is available and policies, procedures, confidentiality, and privacy requirements are met.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, prepare agendas, and take accurate minutes.
- Enter data and produce reports.
- Create and maintain rosters, contact lists, and systems to ensure timely management of SafeWork NSW incident notifications.
- Manage finances, including payment of invoices and budgeting.
- Support the SafeWork NSW enforceable undertakings program.
- Show resilience, motivation, and a self-starting attitude.
- Be flexible, adaptable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Show excellent communication and relationship-building skills and the ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Hold a high level of skills across Microsoft applications.
- Demonstrate advanced time management skills and the ability to prioritize work activities and requests for information in a high-volume environment.
- Work collaboratively in a team to achieve business outcomes.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
