Job Opportunity:

This is a six to twelve month assignment as a Trade Waste Professional within Service Response.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting Greasy Waste customers and ensuring customers are informed of trade waste obligations moving forward
  • Engaging with customers to establish Trade Waste Agreements and educating in relation to their obligations
  • Inspection of customer sites and taking samples to determine compliance against trade waste agreements and the adequacy of on-site pollution prevention controls
  • Managing non-compliance customers and trade waste events
  • Investigating Incidents and/or spills caused by fats and grease

This role will be primarily focused on Greasy Waste. The successful applicant will be paid higher duties during the assignment.

Requirements:
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Willingness to learn more about Trade Waste
  • An understanding of various Trade Waste and Water Treatment processes
  • The ability to effectively communicate with customers, industry representatives and internal stakeholders regarding compliance and other issues
