**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Services Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for providing responsive and quality public amenity maintenance and waste services throughout the City of Monash.

The ideal candidate will have trade or industry-based training and/or relevant experience in waste and/or cleansing operations. Proficiency in the operation of heavy rigid vehicles, forklifts, and backhoes is essential. Strong communication skills and a customer service focus are also required.

The successful applicant will be able to work varied shifts, including nights, early starts, and weekends. A satisfactory police check and pre-employment medical assessment are mandatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Providing asset maintenance and waste services as required
  • Inspecting and reporting on public space, assets, and public amenities for cleanliness, damage, and safety
  • Maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety standards
  • Providing quality customer service while communicating respectfully to all members of the public and colleagues

**Requirements and Qualifications:**
