Job Title: Quality Assurance Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical QA Lead to join our team at Xref. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Design and implement robust test strategies for both manual and automated testing processes.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of automation frameworks and tools to optimise testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing when necessary to validate software quality and stability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to QA and testing.
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools and frameworks that align with project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Java.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.
