Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Westpac Group. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance deliverables and ensuring the highest level of performance and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be accountable for all Quality assurance deliverables for the agile Release Train.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance engineers, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with project team and other stakeholders to define quality requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in programme-level discussions for rapid assessment, backlog prioritisation, and planning testing activities.
  • Produce Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Completion reports to align with programme release plans and delivery methodology.
  • Set up quality assurance reporting and dashboards that can be used for reporting and to analyse to identify patterns, root causes and opportunities for continuous improvements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience within the Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years of experience as Test Lead/Manager.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
  • Experience in designing and implementing test automation solutions is highly desirable.
  • Substantial experience working in a large and complex organisation in the financial services or banking industry.
  • Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
