Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the team's quality awareness, expertise, and capabilities within the quality assurance domain.
  • Initiate enhancements to product development pipelines and operational workflows.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle, encompassing planning, execution, assessment, and reporting.
  • Offer direct supervision and advice on the formulation of test strategies and execution of tests.
  • Establish quality objectives within the project alongside your team, measuring these to inform actions.
  • Proactively identify quality issues and risks to product stakeholders.
  • Collaborate to devise risk mitigation strategies.
  • Represent the voice of our users.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Comprehension of the necessary elements to elevate quality for a team, project, or multidisciplinary initiative.
  • Ability to engage in discussions and pose inquiries to engineers regarding technical implementations.
  • Capability to conduct in-depth technical quality assessments.
  • Experience in designing and executing quality assurance plans.
  • Proficiency in managing aspects of a defect tracking system.
  • Experience working closely with developers.
  • Ability to generate custom reports on test coverage and defect metrics.
  • Intermediate proficiency in a scripting language, such as C#.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a proven track record of leading quality initiatives within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in engine development teams.
  • Development experience across multiple platforms, including mobile, console, and PC.
  • Adept at adapting to diverse product streams.
  • Experience collaborating with remote vendors and providing constructive feedback on performance.
  • Experience in developing Unreal Engine-based games.
  • Familiarity with quality management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience with build pipelines and workflows.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Perforce and Git.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications include:
    • BBST Foundations
    • BBST Test Design
    • ISTQB Foundation Level
    • ISTQB Agile Tester or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST)
    • ISTQB Expert Level
    • ICAgile Test Expert (ICE-AT)
