About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Services Officer to join our IM&T Service Delivery team based in Adelaide. This is a fixed-term role until end of June 2025.
As a Technical Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our extensive computing fleet, including infrastructure, mobile devices, personal device assets, and video conferencing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely responses and recommendations for Level 2/3 support requests, ensuring a high level of customer service and reducing lifecycle processes.
- Contribute to the development of continuous improvement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Troubleshoot and provide information to enable resolution on Level 2/3 support requests, promptly allocating unresolved calls as necessary.
- Install and configure desktop hardware, software, and peripherals in a network environment, assisting in packaging applications using prescribed frameworks.
- Manage customer expectations for the resolution of outstanding incidents and service requests, advising customers in a timely manner of system downtime or interruptions.
- Alert the customer or business to potential or known problems affecting the quality of services provided.
- Create and maintain process instructions and relevant documentation.
- Work closely with the Hardware Asset Management team to ensure hardware and peripherals are managed in accordance with their lifecycle.
- Complete Classified Technical Support duties as required.
- Assist with projects as allocated.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience (of at least 2-3 years) in a Level 2 or 3 IT Administrator/Support role, preferably in a large corporate networked environment.
- Proven ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot with a focus on achieving objectives and ensuring effective outcomes.
- Proven ability to support both hardware (laptop/desktop, mobility, and video conferencing) and software (MS operating systems and business applications) in a diverse corporate environment.
- An IT-related Diploma, Microsoft Certification, or equivalent is preferred.
