About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team.

The primary objective of this role is to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of all orders. This includes reviewing customer requests daily, ensuring competitiveness both commercially and technically, and aligning with pricing strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with internal and external subcontractors to pursue customer opportunities with competitive proposals, onboarding new customers in compliance with our processes, and reviewing progress regularly with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and high customer retention.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange suitable shipments via air, sea, barge, charters, etc., ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Ensure data quality by keeping all systems up to date promptly.
  • Produce accurate and timely documentation, including import/export declarations, customs clearance, and MES declarations.
  • Prepare spot quotations, data for tender documents, and participate in commercial support.
  • Handle administration related to local services such as trucking, warehousing, cargo surveys, etc., where applicable.
  • Complete all documentation, billing, and vendor invoice/ebill acknowledgment, including weekly forwarding sub-ledger (FSL).
  • Take corrective actions or notify relevant personnel to prevent re-occurrence of customer complaints.
  • Report incidents and hazards as per instructions.
