National Discipline Lead

We are seeking a highly accomplished Transport Planning leader to provide technical direction, mentorship and leadership to our national Transport Planning team.

The successful candidate will have experience in a broad range of projects, including policy and guidance, strategy development, multi-modal transport plans, place based transport plans, movement and place frameworks, options analysis, and business case development.

  • Provide technical direction to Transport Planning projects and workstreams;
  • Undertake the role of Project Director or Project Manager on large Transport Planning assignments;
  • Providing technical advice to support our clients in addressing their transport challenges;
  • Lead business development activities, including supporting the account management of our key accounts;
  • Oversee Transport Planning bid development;
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the wider Advisory, Planning and Technology Business Unit's strategy and achievement of targets; and
  • Participate in global forums relevant to Transport Planning.
About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Transport Planning professional to lead our national Transport Planning team. As National Discipline Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical direction, mentorship, and leadership to your team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Direction: Provide expert guidance on Transport Planning projects and workstreams;
  • Project Management: Undertake the role of Project Director or Project Manager on large Transport Planning assignments;
  • Client Support: Providing technical advice to support our clients in addressing their transport challenges;
  • Business Development: Lead business development activities, including supporting the account management of our key accounts;
  • Bid Development: Oversee Transport Planning bid development;
  • Strategy Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of the wider Advisory, Planning and Technology Business Unit's strategy and achievement of targets; and
  • Professional Development: Participate in global forums relevant to Transport Planning.
Requirements
