Job Title: Transport Software Implementation Consultant

We are seeking an expert in transport software to join our team and deliver high-quality support and consulting services to our rail customers.

About the Role:
  • This role involves working closely with customers to map their operational data into our software framework.
  • You will be responsible for building and optimising transport models, including crew rostering and shift planning.
  • The ideal candidate will own the customer onboarding process, including data ingestion, training, and user support.
  • You will troubleshoot issues, especially in optimisation modelling workflows, and provide ongoing user support to ensure customer success.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of optimisation tools and documentation is also a key responsibility.
  • This role requires frequent domestic travel (every 1–2 months) for site visits, with international travel opportunities existing as we expand.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Commerce, or similar.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role—preferably within rail, transport modelling, logistics, or shift-planning—is preferred.
  • You should be comfortable interpreting data and delivering analytic insights using tools like SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Problem-solving, modelling, and collaboration skills directly with users are essential.
  • Brisbane-based candidates with willingness to travel Australia-wide (and occasionally abroad) are ideal.
  • Clear, personable communication (verbal and written) skills and the ability to influence and manage customer relationships are crucial.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to grow and learn are necessary.
  • You must deliver what you promise to a high standard.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Exposure to AWS/Azure or working in a SaaS/software consulting environment.
