Senior Transport Infrastructure Specialist Role

This senior role focuses on providing expert engineering input into transport infrastructure projects, delivering concept designs, briefs, and project coordination for capital works. Key objectives include ensuring compliance with relevant standards, providing expert advice, and guiding internal and external teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality conceptual designs that respond to real user needs and incorporate best-practice transport design, standards, and policies.
  • Prepare and review detailed design briefs to guide project teams.
  • Civil engineering design plans are reviewed to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and Council policies.
  • Expertly certify engineering designs within the field of expertise.
About You / Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain registration within 12 months of employment.
  • C Class Driver's Licence.
