Job Title:

Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting leaders and staff across the Northern Sydney Local Health District to build workforce capability aligned with business goals.
  • Providing expert advice on workforce strategy, industrial relations, performance management, and organisational change to help shape a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with public sector legislation and HR best practices.
  • Partnering with managers to guide them through performance, talent, and change management processes.
  • Advising on complex workforce matters including grievances, disputes, and industrial issues.
  • Promoting and embodying our CORE values – Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
  • Cultivating a strong team culture by coaching and supporting leaders to proactively manage people challenges.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards such and/or experience in Workforce/Human Resources management.
  • Previous experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions including change management, industrial consultation, grievance and disciplinary management, job evaluation, recruitment and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the public sector, relevant employment and Industrial Relations, EEO, Child Protection, WHS Legislation and relevant State Awards.
