About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Support Professional to join our team at AMP Limited. As a key member of our Governance team, you will provide high-quality support to the Trustee Board and its Committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and draft policies to ensure regulatory compliance by regularly assessing existing policies and creating new ones to meet evolving regulatory and reporting standards.
  • Produce written papers for the Trustee Board and Committees by developing comprehensive and well-researched documents to support decision-making processes.
  • Provide feedback on Board and Committee papers from internal service providers by evaluating and offering constructive feedback to ensure the papers meet the Trustee's obligations and requirements.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to STO projects by addressing questions and solving problems related to projects undertaken by the Superannuation Trustee Office.
  • Assist with scheduling, analysis, and reporting for the quarterly Trustee Board Reporting Framework (TBRF) by coordinating and contributing to the preparation and presentation of quarterly reports.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience working in superannuation, insurance, or other financial services role.
  • Broad understanding and experience of a superannuation regulatory environment and the obligations.
  • Understanding of the regulatory and compliance regime for financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance-related discipline or law, as well as Superannuation Industry qualification (e.g. RG146), not essential but well-regarded.
  • Excellent relationship development and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to successfully apply these abilities within the Legal & Governance team and across the broader AMP group.
  • Commitment to driving positive superannuation member outcomes.
  • Ability to navigate routine or varied problems and identify solutions that improve or modify existing processes.
  • Effective communication skills, including written, verbal, virtual, or face-to-face communication.
  • Agility, professionalism, and attention to detail.
