The Governance & Planning Analyst plays a pivotal role in championing the AP+ Technology governance framework, best practices in IT governance and compliance to ensure the ongoing integrity and security of AP+'s organisational IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and implement policies and procedures to maintain AP+'s Technology governance framework.
- Assess the existing Technology governance framework and identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
- Drive the adoption and compliance of governance practices throughout the Technology organisation.
- Develop standard operating procedures for Technology to ensure compliance with corporate governance.
- Ensure the organization's adherence to industry-specific compliance standards and regulations.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on compliance performance and improvement initiatives.
- Assess Technology activities to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Facilitate Technology audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to define governance objectives and align them with business and Technology.
- Provide guidance and support on complying with internal and external policies.
- 6+ years' experience working within an information or data governance function.
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
- Practical experience in the definition and implementation of Technology policies and procedures.
- A good understanding of information management practices including information lifecycle management, data modelling, master data management and the conduct of business audits and requirements gathering.
- Understanding the concept of FinOps and contributing to the development of FinOps disciplines and processes; monitor and report on financial spend against budgets.
