Role

This is a part-time Clinical Nurse Consultant position with responsibility for leading the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care. The role will involve supervising and coordinating patients' cancer journeys, providing expert clinical advice, and developing evidence-based nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides leadership in the development of clinical practice that reflects best practices in oncology care.
  • Supervises and coordinates patients' cancer treatments, investigations, and supportive care.
  • Engages directly with patients to plan and navigate their care.
  • Provides expert clinical advice to healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
  • Supports multidisciplinary care for inpatients and outpatients.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent degree.
  • Postgraduate qualification in specialty field.
  • At least 5 years of full-time post-registration experience and at least 3 years of clinical experience in oncology, palliative care, or cancer stream-specific nursing.
