Job Title: Principal Digital Preservation Advisor
Role OverviewThis is a key role in the development and implementation of digital preservation strategies for various stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on digital archiving and preservation, as well as leading the development of policies, standards, procedures, and training material.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist advice and support to agencies regarding digital preservation
- Develop and implement digital preservation policies, standards, procedures, and training material
- Maintain oversight of data models and monitor compliance of digital preservation systems
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with external digital preservation practitioners
- Undertake data analysis and prepare reports, submissions, and presentations for stakeholders
