Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare event and meeting spaces, including setting up tables, chairs, and linens.
  • Tend bar and serve platters of food to guests.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests, providing personalized service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Assist with event arrangements, including coordinating logistics and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Support the banquets team in general operational tasks, such as inventory management and equipment maintenance.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Up-to-date RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
  • Working rights in Australia.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
