Frontline Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Disability Services team as a Frontline Support Specialist. This role is ideal for someone passionate about person-centred care, especially supporting clients with complex needs.

You will be responsible for mentoring staff, guiding behaviour support strategies, and working closely with clients and their networks to ensure safety, inclusion, and positive outcomes.

This role requires:

  • Delivering tailored support for clients with complex needs
  • Leading behaviour support and crisis management strategies
  • Mentoring and guiding staff to build a high-performing team
  • Engaging clients and families to align services with individual goals
  • Advocating for client rights and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with NDIS standards and policies

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in high-intensity, person-centred disability support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to mentor and model best practice
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (or equivalent)
  • Current NSW Working with Children's Check, NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, First Aid, and Driver's Licence

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Improve client outcomes through effective support and guidance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and staff
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies
