Healthcare Australia (HCA) is an international organisation & registered NDIS provider specialising in Core Supports providing In Home and Community Access support to NDIS participants.
Weare currently experiencing high demand for our NDIS Clientsand looking for committed and energetic Disability Support Worker to join our team and service our clients in an ongoing roster in the following area:- Tamworth, New England
- Armidale
You will be supporting clients with Mental Health, Physical and Intellectual Disabilities within their home and in the community in a 1:1 setting. We have varieties of short and long shifts with ongoing roster and your duties may include:- Personal care, Domestic assistance, Community Access, Manual Handling
- Manage accurate and detailed shift reports including progress notes and incident reports
- Medication administration, meal preparation, Diabetes management, Epilepsy management, PEG Feeding, Bladder & Bowel Care
- Opportunity to work consistent weekly hours/ regular Rosters
- Flexible working hours & shift variety
- Weekly pay/Competitive Remuneration & Superannuation payments.
- Potential to evolve into a permanent part-time position in the future
- Up-skill with Free Training and development opportunities include Manual Handling, Peg Feeding, Bowel Care, Epilepsy management, Medication Admin and more
- 24/7 support with a dedicated after-hours team.
- Easy Mobile App for managing your shifts and submitting timesheets
- Minimum 6 months paid experience supporting individuals living with disabilities
- Minimum Cert III or higher in relevant field.
- 2 Covid-19 Vaccination Doses
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Working with children check & NDIS Worker Check
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Driver licence and own comprehensively insured car preferred
