Senior Civil Engineer Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work on iconic projects, collaborating with a talented team of professionals.

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with strong industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects, effectively delivering multiple concurrent projects.

The successful candidate will have excellent client relationship management and project management skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage ongoing communication and professional relationships with clients;
  • Lead and deliver current civil engineering projects from inception through to construction in support of technical and commercial standards, and within time constraints;
  • Work in a varied, hands-on role with a leadership angle across design management, superintendency, and site surveillance;
  • Delegate and supervise the work of junior engineers;
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
Key Requirements
  • Solid industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects in a consulting environment;
  • Well-versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector;
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills;
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.);
  • Proficiency with 12D and Civil 3D; drainage software experience preferred.
