Become a Key Player in Our Ecommerce Revolution

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of ecommerce. Your expertise in machine learning and software engineering will drive the design, development, and productionization of proprietary models solving complex business challenges.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define business priorities, frame machine learning problems, and architect innovative solutions.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models, including data preparation pipelines, model orchestrations, performance improvements, and reliability enhancements.
  • Maintain high-quality codebases with robust testing, ensuring functional and non-functional aspects are thoroughly covered.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, research cutting-edge deep learning models, prototype new ideas, and conduct offline and online experiments.
  • Share knowledge through brown bags, tech talks, and evangelize best practices in machine learning and engineering.

Requirements

About You:

  • PhD in Machine Learning or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Bayesian methods, Recommender systems, multi-task modeling, meta-learning, click-through rate modeling, or conversion rate modeling.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in building production-grade machine learning systems, covering all aspects of model training, tuning, deployment, serving, and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in Kubeflow (or similar), TensorFlow, and Feature Store in a production environment is highly desirable.
  • Bonus points if you have experience with architectures like DCNV2, MMOE, Deep & Wide, ESMM, xDeepFM, or GDCN.

Competitive Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $190,000 to $235,000 per annum, inclusive of superannuation, plus an employee equity plan grant and world-class benefits.
