About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Director to join our team at a prominent educational institution in Brisbane.

Job Description
  • Provide expert guidance on human resources strategies aligned with the college's vision.
  • Lead and manage comprehensive HR operations, encompassing recruitment, performance management, compliance, and policy implementation.
  • Maintain effective industrial relations and resolve employee disputes and grievances.
  • Support staff development and professional learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate leadership skills in managing HR services and systems for approximately 495 staff members.
  • Promote a positive work environment and foster collaborative relationships among staff and leaders.
  • Ensure successful implementation of policies, procedures, and processes that support the college's goals.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in leading high-quality HR services and systems.
  • Industrial Relations Expertise: Demonstrated experience in handling industrial relations matters, employee disputes, grievances, claims, and tribunal proceedings.
  • A blue card for working with children is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective employee relations practices.
