Job Opportunity: Innovation Specialist

The role is open for a specialist to drive innovation and lead organisational transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To spearhead and coordinate innovation initiatives, ensuring project targets are met in line with the company's objectives.
  • To monitor and support communication and reporting on innovation projects.
  • To create high-quality deliverables for innovation initiatives.
  • To conduct research to identify key government policies and strategies that impact Future Care, market trends, emerging technologies, and leading practices.
  • To develop value-driven analysis, market opportunity, and business rationale definition, financial projections, and business case development.
  • To provide expert recommendations, insights, and briefings on innovation learnings for relevant stakeholders.
  • To organise and run innovation initiative meetings and workshops.
  • To foster collaboration with industry and strategic partners.

About You:

To succeed in this position, you will possess:

  • A passion for healthcare and technology.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience as a change agent driving organisational transformation.
  • Proven development and implementation of new models of care, including virtual care.
  • Proficient in desktop research.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organised, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically to plan, synchronise, and execute complex undertakings.
  • Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to guidelines.
  • Familiarity with the innovation process, methods, tools, templates, and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project management.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Human-Centred Design, and Lean ways of working.
  • A thought leader who reads and engages extensively to bring outside-in thinking to the organisation.
