Mechanical Fitter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on fixed plant equipment at a prestigious gold mine site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Perform routine inspections and tests to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements as required, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating maintenance activities with other tradespeople.
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in mechanical fitting.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in the mining or heavy industry.
  • A strong commitment to safety and adhering to site-specific safety protocols.
  • Valid certifications in WAH, GAS TEST, and CONFINED SPACE.
  • Experience on a gold mine site completing fixed plant maintenance is highly desirable.
