Goal Indigenous Services are seeking experienced Fixed Plant Mechanics /Mechanical Maintainers to join our client's mining operations across WA. This role is responsible for maintaining fixed plant equipment by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to ensure safe and reliable operation.

About the Role

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose faults to minimise downtime.
  • Isolate equipment for safe maintenance and operational tasks.
  • Report defects and complete maintenance records accurately.
  • Collaborate with planners, schedulers, and other maintenance teams.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure maintenance standards and equipment reliability are met at all times.

Requirements

  • Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fixed Plant Mechanic.
  • Experience in fixed plant operations and diagnostic fault finding.
  • Basic understanding of SAP or other maintenance systems.
  • Ability to work independently and within small maintenance teams.
  • Current WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence (Manual).
  • HR Driver's Licence (highly regarded).
  • Confined Space, Working at Heights, and First Aid certifications.
  • High Risk Work Licences (LF, WP, DG, RB, OHS, etc.) highly regarded.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
