Sr Mechanical Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Sr Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a complex processing plant.

This role involves working collaboratively with asset owners to identify and troubleshoot plant and process problems, ensuring maximum availability.

The successful candidate will support the project team as an owner's Mechanical engineering advisor and assist in providing technical governance and support to various aspects of operations.

">

The ideal candidate will have a team player mentality, a varied engineering background, and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.

The following qualifications and skills are required:

">
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia">
  • Minimum 10 years' experience, with at least 4 years in a complex processing plant">
  • Able to work autonomously and be self-driven">
  • Familiarity with WA Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022">
  • Experience developing SOW for external consultants">
  • Appreciation of the Business context for engineering and maintenance decisions">
