
Dialysis Nursing Support Assistant

**Job Summary**
We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dialysis nursing team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to patients under RN supervision.
In this part-time role, you'll work a minimum of 3 shifts (10 hours each) per fortnight, Monday to Saturday. Your duties will include preparing consumables, setting up dialysis machines, monitoring patients, and assisting with the completion of dialysis treatments.
You'll be guided by experienced senior nursing staff and the Nurse Unit Manager, with comprehensive orientation and training days to ensure you're fully prepared for success in this important role.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare consumables and equipment for dialysis treatments
- Set up dialysis machines and maintain them throughout the treatment process
- Monitor patients under RN supervision and report any concerns or issues
- Assist with the completion of dialysis treatments as required
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and patient care. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
