Skilled Dialysis Nurse Wanted

Our Satellite Dialysis Unit requires a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Assess patients undergoing haemodialysis and haemodiafiltration, identifying their needs and developing tailored care plans.
- Nursing Care Delivery: Implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective patient outcomes.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes or concerns to relevant authorities.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis procedures and aftercare.
Requirements:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse - Division 1 with AHPRA.
- Relevant clinical experience in patient assessment and planning care for dialysis patients.
- Demonstrated knowledge of haemodialysis and cannulation techniques.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
