Equipment Service TechnicianThe Equipment Service provides a range of commonly used equipment on loan at no cost to people with MND who are registered. We work closely with external equipment suppliers to ensure the quality and maintenance of our equipment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in providing a comprehensive Equipment Service to ensure timely delivery of clean, well-maintained equipment to those living with MND.
  • Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Purchase and manage spare parts to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Develop and implement a periodic maintenance schedule to minimize malfunctions and optimize performance.
  • Inspect equipment for damage or defects and report any issues.
  • Assist in developing and improving procedures where necessary.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Operate specialized cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and steam cleaners.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment before and after use.
  • Loading, transporting, and unloading equipment.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
