Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Specialist to join our Asset Team at the iconic BlueScope Port Kembla Steelworks. The successful candidate will have expertise in mechanical equipment and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and reporting on asset condition.
  • Supporting the Asset Improvement Coordinators with daily tasks.
  • Scoping and planning maintenance, shutdowns, and breakdowns.
  • Creating work orders in SAP.
  • Participating in RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
  • Working with multi-discipline teams to ensure reliable operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude and pride in your work.
  • Experience in similar roles or readiness to take the next step.
  • A NSW Driver's Licence and computer literacy.
