Ariszinc is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Manager to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our Defence client's team, you will be responsible for managing the fleet of vehicles and ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirements/methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimize vehicle utilization and reduce costs.
- Manage the maintenance and repair of vehicles, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that all fleet-related services are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and report on fleet performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that fleet operations are aligned with business objectives.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and associated domain knowledge.
- Current and relevant fleet management experience.
- Knowledge commensurate with the skill level required of relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirements/methodologies.
- Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant field.
- A recognised program/product management professional qualification (such as registered project managers under AIPM).
- Understanding of military Command and Control technologies such as tactical data Links would be beneficial.
- Previous experience in the CASG / Defence.
