Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Canberra site and surrounding areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing a team of 25+ employees, and driving business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all functions across the Canberra site
- Planning and reacting to change
- Engaging, leading, and developing the team
- Delivering the overall branch strategy
- Driving ongoing improvement initiatives
- Ensuring a high-level safety and customer service culture
- Supporting and motivating the sales team to achieve growth targets
- Ensuring compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Experience working in a similar role
- KPI and customer-focused with the ability to perform under pressure
- The ability to prioritize, think laterally, and make things happen
- Transport/Logistics/Mobile Service industry experience, where you managed a fleet and team of drivers
- Approachable and supportive leadership skills
- Continuous improvement focus
- Well-developed people and time management skills
- KPI-focused with the ability to perform under pressure
- Able to successfully satisfy a pre-employment medical
- Demonstrate the ability to be a quick learner in a fast-paced and varied role
- Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, and commitment
- Ability to learn new internal programs and technology
- Proactive and strive to upskill
- A commitment to achieving customer service of the highest standard
