About the Role
Ward 6C is a 30-bedded Medical Oncology ward catering to the local community. We are seeking a talented Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nurses and hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Assess patients using therapeutic skills and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- Certificate III/IV in Community and Health Services or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.
