About Northern Beaches Hospital
Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital is a contemporary 488-bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community. The hospital features 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories, and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit.
The Role
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our medical ward team. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will utilise a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to plan, assess, and implement care for all patients in collaboration with the patient/family and multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide a high level of clinical care and exceptional customer service to patients
• Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals under the direction and supervision of the RN
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Requirements
• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
• Prior experience in an acute care hospital
• Minimum 1 year's experience in the acute setting
• Demonstrated practice according to evidence-based nursing and latest contemporary practices in nursing
• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Flexibility with shift allocations, timing
