Aboriginal Community Liaison Specialist

The NSW Police Force is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project Officer to join our Crime Prevention Command. This exciting opportunity involves undertaking project research, analysis, reporting, secretariat, and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects aligned with the NSWPF Aboriginal Strategic Direction.
This role offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic environment with a committed team of Aboriginal specialist employees. You will have the opportunity to liaise with and provide support to NSW Police Force employees across the state, utilizing your meticulous attention to detail skills to inform initiatives, provide excellent customer service, and support programs that promote positive relationships between Aboriginal people and the NSW Police Force.

About the Role
This is an ongoing full-time position based at Hurstville. The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $95,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- To undertake project research, analysis, reporting, secretariat, and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects aligned with the NSWPF Aboriginal Strategic Direction.
- To liaise with and provide support to NSW Police Force employees across the state.
- To utilize your meticulous attention to detail skills to inform initiatives, provide excellent customer service, and support programs that promote positive relationships between Aboriginal people and the NSW Police Force.
Requirements
- Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification as authorized by Part 5, Clause 26 of the Government Sector Employment Rules 2014.
